7:30pm Performance * 7pm "Concert Talk"
Savor a sumptuous feast of classical choral delights featuring Haydn and Mozart, two consummate composers from the Classical era whose legacies live on to this day. From the exhilarating surprises of Haydn’s musical mastery to the simple grace of Mozart’s incomparable genius, you’ll enjoy every moment of this extraordinary performance.
The concert includes humorous parodies of well-known classical works by P.D.Q. Bach that incorporate balloons,
fog horns, unusual instruments, and vocalizations such as coughing, snoring and laughing.
This unique choral experience is a treat for the young, and the young at heart, encouraging us to appreciate the beauty of classical music – and share in its fun, as well.
