Carols and Bells

December 3rd, 2022 at 7:30pm
at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts

Masterworks and the Celebration Handbell Ensemble join forces to recreate two heartening musical traditions, the singing of Christmas carols and the ringing of handbells. Since the Victorian era, carols and handbells have lent their uplifting music to this traditional time of joy and devotion. Tonight you’ll hear traditional favorites as well as new songs that makes this concert the ideal event to ring in the holiday season with family and friends.

Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival

March 11th, 2023at 7:30pm
at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts

The 2022 PNW champions, Verdant A Cappella, return to host our exciting annual a cappella competition featuring the best vocal talent in the Northwest. The Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival is the premier American showcase for vocal harmony music. The annual national competition is part of a national contest around the country with regional competitions in eight cities. The winning group from each festival is flown to perform in front of celebrity judges and a sold out house of enthusiastic a cappella fans at the National Finals.

Mozart’s Requiem

April 15th, 2023 at 7:30pm
at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts

In the 19th century Mozart’s Requiem became the most famous musical setting of the Mass for the Dead, and was sung at memorial services for Haydn, Beethoven, Weber, Chopin, and Napoleon. Don’t miss Masterworks performance of this timeless masterpiece performed with orchestra.

The Golden Age of Broadway

June 17th, 2023 at 7:30pm
at the Washington Center for the Performing Arts

Broadway musicals have a way of immersing you in the story right away. Powerful songs and engaging stories draw us in to that special, musical world. Return with us to the Golden Age of Broadway as we perform hits from Oklahoma, The King and I, My Fair Lady, Camelot, The Music Man and more.
