A cornerstone of building a music community is supporting local artists: musicians, dancers, visual artists, and more through partnerships, collaborations, and sharing the gift of music live on stage. For several years MCE has been able to support local musicians through a mix of grant funding, advertising, and private donations for arts supporters like you – but the changing times means we are more in need of your support than ever before.
Our fundraising goal is $10,000. Every dollar goes directly to paying our musicians and making this concert extraordinary.

Support Performing Arts in Olympia by giving to Masterworks Choral Ensemble. For over 40 years, we’ve inspired the Southwest Washington arts community through powerful choral performances, celebration of local artists, and encouragement of young musicians.
Ticket sales only cover about 45% of our operating costs. We rely on community support to keep the music going—and growing.

- Present high-quality choral concerts with our full choir and talented local musicians, from small ensembles to full orchestras
- Purchase essential performance materials, like sheet music, which can cost $2–5 per singer for just one song
- Offer reduced-price tickets for students and seniors at every concert
- Participate in the Washington Center’s LIFT Program, offering discounted tickets to individuals and families facing financial barriers
- Provide membership scholarships, easing financial burdens so singers from all backgrounds can sing with us
- Support young musicians through our Youth Music Competition, which offers scholarships and the opportunity to perform on stage
- Host free community events like Open Sing, a free vocal workshop series for all skill levels
- Hire and fairly pay local musicians who perform with us at concerts throughout the season, helping to sustain a vibrant and inclusive regional arts scene
